There's a tier for that as well!</li></ul>Who's behind Indie Folk Central?&nbsp;Hey everyone, I'm Rufus, 32 years old and I'm the owner of Indie Folk Central. I'm living in The Netherlands, together with my wife Anisa, and my two sons (3 and 2 years old + we're expecting a third child anytime soon!). I've been working with indie folk artists since 2012 and I created Indie Folk Central (IFC) back in 2016. My main goal has always been to promote indie folk artists the best way possible and to make their music known. Being critical in the song selection process and spending a lot of time in curating playlists has been a great way to do this. I'm basically spending most of my time, 6 days a week, on Indie Folk Central, I'm in touch with artists/managements/labels every day and a lot of work goes into getting the written permission to be able to make the compilations. It's my passion and I hope to continue doing this for the rest of my life. It's a free service I'm delivering for artists and listeners. It's not a commercial approach and yet I do need money to pay the office costs and take care of my family. That's where Patreon comes in. Especially now with doing a 24/7 live stream on YouTube. I'm hoping to get enough support to keep doing what I love doing. It's entirely optional for you to join, but it does give you some nice benefits (mp3 downloads &amp; I'll be able to curate more playlists/compilations for you)!
